Job Description
Senior Technical Manager / Director Designate, UK wide with travel.
To lead technical excellence across the UK Facilities business, mainly engineering delivery (c £100M ), across multiple contracts and sectors .
To support the Facilities business, ensuring that technical and statutory compliance across the full range of static sites and mobile service delivery contracts is maintained to the highest standards. To act as an HV/LV Senior Authorised Person and ensure adherence to the Safety Rules. Provide support to the Operational teams and ensure statutory compliance is maintained in line with contract requirements. Provide technical compliance leadership covering all the mechanical and electrical aspects of contract service. Ensuring the following:
• Technical compliance commitments are met and exceeded.
• Staff are suitably trained, and competency assessed.
Accountabilities
- Delivery of Compliance Policy and statutory requirements across the facilities business.
- Ensure all corrective actions arising from Health and Safety audits are implemented.
- Conduct technical audits across the Facilities Mgt business in line with the audit programme
- Contribute to the performance of the business as a member of the technical management team.
- Ensure that a robust set of Emergency & Standard Operating Procedures are produced and maintained for each site.
- Ensure that systems, processes are in place to ensure compliance to agreed standards and knowledge is shared with site teams.
- Fully conversant with the Company procedures, manuals and technical standards/regulations.
- Ensure implementation of CAFM tools and contractual and legislative obligations are adhered.
