A key milestone was with Balfour Beatty and Haden Building Management. It had experienced a number of poor leaders who had failed to capitalise on the burgeoning TFM market. We appointed Mike Fellowes as MD, a talented executive from Sodexo, who in 4 years turned the company around from a loss making £105m hard services business, to a highly profitable +£300m TFM business. Over 10 years we worked in partnership with the renamed Balfour Beatty Workplace, appointing many of their Sector Directors, Sales Directors, bid teams, operational and account management to lead complex facilities services contracts.
We used this expertise with clients such as Mitie, Spie, Engie, Sodexo and JLL to find, attract and retain experienced talent.
Our case studies with Interserve demonstrate our long term working relationships. Macallam supported Interserve from the CEO level across all of their international businesses, from the early stage development as a £1.2bn business to reach c £3.2bn turnover in 2017 and almost 80,000 people before being sold to Mitie.
