Job Description

Director of Environmental Planning, Energy and Power sector

We are looking for a capable Environmental Planning leader, who has experience in the Energy / infrastructure sector for one of our Consulting clients. The role is a UK wide remit based anywhere within the UK and will deal with Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Water power projects .

Part of the Energy & Resources Leadership team, the role will contribute to the execution of the UK&I Growth Strategy applying knowledge of environmental services market drivers and future capability development.

Acting as the key contact for Generation clients, expanding the services offering in this sector beyond Environmental and Planning practices. You will grow the team, identifying and developing new business opportunities and building relationships with senior client contacts and organisations. You will be supported by a collaborative leadership team and play a key role in the business at a very exciting time.

Skills, Knowledge Education/ Training

We would consider a manager wanting to take a step into a Director role, experienced in Environmental Consulting practice wanting to build a team, be responsible for strategy and business leadership. You will be responsible as a team manager of people, wellbeing, safety, business development.

Qualified to degree level, you will also ideally be a member of a relevant industry body. Experience across a range of consenting regimes including s36, T&CPA and DCO.
