Job Description

Project Director ;  Working with regulated asset owners and DNO's, responsible for the safe execution of High Voltage construction projects within Frameworks to budget and programme. This is a key member of the management team within a large and growing specialist HV electrical design and build business working on regulated works/ DNO's and in the renewable connections sector.

Principal Accountabilities

• Supporting tendering in the frameworks order pursuit process (helping to develop capture and execution strategy) - achieve clarity of expectation throughout the demand and supply chain
• Take on full responsibility for the safe on time and to-budget delivery of the project deliverables.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the scope of work and the commercial, contractual and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and implications
• Manage changes in the scope (and the associated commercial aspects) driven by client, internally or the supply chain
• Lead a multi-disciplinary project team (including resources from Engineering, Planning and Commercial, Quality HSE, Supply Chain, and Technology functions)
• Represent the company at all key project delivery meetings i.e. the principle point of contact with the client
• Manage the financial and commercial aspects of the project including reporting the current and forecast financial status, risks and opportunity, and project cash flow.
