Job Description

Programme Manager, Engineering;  Critical science infrastructure

Surrey

To work across a large public sector estate which is constantly growing and changing. This is a long term position with succession planning for a bigger job, hence has longevity and progression.

The role involves managing Engineering maintenance and programmes across a complex science estate. Ensuring that contractual obligations are met, deploying resources in the most effective manner and ensure client communications are first class.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental and Sustainability policies.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with contract and governance arrangements.
• Programme oversight, manage resources and financial oversight
• Work closely with management, stakeholders and supply chain to ensure a coordinated approach to the delivery of projects.
• Manage engineering facilities projects to high levels of quality, programme and budget.
• Management of reports, recruitment, selection, development and objective setting.
• Experience in Engineering, FM and project management is essential within a regulated, science based environment.
