Role: Financial Accounting Manager
Location: Midlands/South Yorkshire area
Salary: to £60,000 Basic Salary Plus company package

Role
This is an important role for a qualified accountant to work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of data reported is compliant with new statutory reporting requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Group IFRS interim and full year accounts including involvement in the audit process
- Assisting in financial reporting compliance, interpreting IFRS changes and communicating impact on group policies
- Proactive in maintaining and improving Group financial reporting Systems and processes
- Assist in the production of comprehensive monthly business financial key performance reporting
- Provide support in the annual budget and reforecasting process
- Provide support in the management of the Group’s pension, share option schemes and taxation affairs
- Involvement in preparation and improvement in balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Research and resolve any technical and reporting requirements of new IFRS announcements that impact on the Group
- Assistance in the integration of acquisitions
- Internal auditing of business processes
- Ad hoc assistance with finance related projects as required.
Personal requirements:
- Qualified accountant
- Knowledge of IFRS and the impact on financial statements
- Experience in working in a listed company is desirable
