Our client is going through significant change and require an interim Head of Projects to lead the team and portfolio of construction projects.
With a capital spend of £40m and growing the projects relate to public sector buildings such as schools, libraries etc. and we require someone to consolidate the estate, redesign those spaces.
You will be robust at detail, can manage a whole portfolio but must be hands on in approach as this is a delivery requirement. That said we need someone who can take a strategic view and have the balance between the two.
You will be a qualified Architect or QS and have a proven track record in managing projects but more importantly getting failing projects back on track and have some exposure to restructuring / reorganising in what has been a culture of underperformance.
