Role
A challenging and rewarding position within this large public sector outsourcing organisation, this is an exciting opportunity to join the division in this Bid Director role, reporting to the Business Development Director. The Bid Director will take responsibility for leading a large complex bid process in excess of £40m per annum contract value.
This person will understand the complexities of working in a multi stakeholder environment, often in JV's with competing priorities. The ability to manage these relationships is key, together with developing the Bid strategy to gain successful contract award.
Required skills & experience
- Significant and impactful SMT Bidding experience from the FM or Support Services Sector
- A successful track record of winning large profitable contracts
- Worked for a large business/division providing FM to complex clients
- Understanding and empathy for client issues and complexity, particularly the public sector.
- Ability to drive change and develop strategies which have a significant impact on differentiating service delivery and building competitive advantage
- The ability to lead, direct and develop strong bid teams
- Educated to degree level and member of a relevant professional institute
- Willing to travel as required.
