Interim Infrastructure Planner
6 Month Assignment
We are urgently seeking an Interim Infrastructure Planner
Main Purposes of the job –
-
To assist with Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) and other large-scale transport time limited projects
-
To provide key support to task and finish teams drawn from across the matrix management basis
-
To assist with the preparation and co-ordination of information for the HIF and other major transport infrastructure Business Case production
-
To liaise with and manage consultants and direct them accordingly. This in relation to scheme feasibility, development, funding and business case work streams.

To produce consultant briefs for all elements of infrastructure scheme development and delivery.

To assist with navigating Growth Deal and HIF schemes through the planning process, including land acquisitions and any other agreements required.

To lead a range of large scale, predominantly transport, time-limited projects.
Key Skills –
-
Transport modelling experience
-
WebTag business case development including 5 case model
-
Infrastructure planning experience including Option and feasibility assessment

Experience of delivery complex and challenging programmes
-
Experience of commissioning and manage consultants
-
Budget management experience
-
Excellent organisational skills
-
Ability to balance conflicting priorities
-
Experience of working to tight and short deadlines
