Role Business Development Manager - Hard & Soft Services
Location Jeddah base preferred with travel throughout Saudi Arabia
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven sales record along with knowledge and understanding of integrated services and facilities management in the Middle East.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To identify and deliver new profitable contracts for both hard & soft services via proactive selling, competitive tendering and/or maximising reactive opportunities.
To cultivate opportunities either from within own self-development database or from the existing communities by forging relationships with appropriate stake holders and reacting to real time requests for proposals.
To deliver the overall team sales target by meeting own individual target and by supporting and helping supervise the activity of branch sales engineers.
To work collaboratively with other sales & operations teams on larger opportunities as part of a bid/project team.
To provide formal summary reports on key opportunities and most probable order pipeline on rolling 12 months basis using Salesforce to its maximum capability.
Minimum 5 years’ experience and proven track record of successfully negotiating and selling both hard & soft services to professional corporate clients in in at least 3 of the following market sectors: transport/aviation, health, manufacturing, education, exhibition centres, large scale events.
To have a detailed knowledge of the KSA market place.
To be actively involved in Facilities Management networking associations.
Must be comfortable working out of home country, accepting of key aspects of KSA culture, and be willing to commit to at least 5 years in the role.
Educated to Degree level
