Job Title – General Sales Manager
Location – Middle East

With an expanding international presence, our client manufacture, install and maintain fire/smoke curtains into specifiers, contractors and end users. They want to drive this and build on their current success by appointing a General Sales Manager for the Middle East to maximize brand exposure and increase sales. You will need to identify new opportunities, generate leads and work with regional distributors to convert leads into orders.
The key outline of the role is to;
Represent the business in the Middle East territories in the marketing of its portfolio of products to the construction sector.
Manage regional distributors in securing profitable commercial contracts and support their activities to develop the brand across the region.
Provide regular and comprehensive sales / order budgets and forecast.
Gain accurate market intelligence and awareness to support targeted sales growth.
Manage the enquiry to order cycle ensuring accurate records are maintained within the Customer Management (CRM) system.
Identify new market opportunities, new product development and potential business ventures.
Provide post order contract support to ensure the contract is effectively executed achieving its order margins whilst maintaining the customer experience.
You will need to be a graduate and have formal sales training with a strong track record of proven sales success in the region having sold products within the ‘high end’ commercial construction market. Ideally having come from a manufacturing or engineering environment within the Fire and/ or Safety sector you will be accustomed with working in a project oriented and heavily bespoke product environment. Ideally you will be an Arabic speaker.
