Business Development Manager – M&E Industrial Services
North East
Salary – To £60,000 plus benefits package
Company
Our client is a multi-national provider of industrial and engineering facilities, energy & outsourced solutions for a wide range of Industrial, power, oil gas and utilities organisations across the UK.
Role
We are looking for a proven and innovative senior development person, with experience of selling mechanical, electrical or industrial services into the North East Petrochemical and Power sectors. Ideally someone who is ambitious, determined and entrepreneurial who can grow a business and lead it.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and building a £multi million business.

Take full ownership of the sales process from meeting to contract signoff, including proposal development and client negotiation.

Map out the potential prospects, network and build relationships with the relevant procurement and engineering teams within those customers.

Prioritise “must win” accounts and have a strategy for how they will be converted.
Personal Requirements and Qualifications
-
At least five years’ experience in a similar sector business development role with a proven success rate
-
Must have relevant regional Power, Energy, Petrochemical client market experience

Successfully able to build a pipeline of profitable business

Effective, analytical and decision making skills with innovative and creative ideas
