As a leader in the manufacture, supply and installation of fire products through architects, engineers and end users the need has arisen to appoint a Contracts Manager to take ownership of the customer driven contract planning and execution process.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the contracts team currently comprising 3 installer
teams of 2 engineers per team, a contracts coordinator, a CAD engineer and 6 project
managers

Promote and ensure health and safety is foremost in the team’s thinking and actions

Work closely with the commercial team to deliver projects on time and on or better than
budget, whilst generating customer satisfaction

Liaise with customers, architects, consultants, and end users, as applicable, to achieve
successful outcomes

Feedback and suggest new ideas for new markets/products, improved processes and
promoting the brand

Match the level of resources and use of subcontractors against the short and medium term loading generated by projects

Generate root cause analysis and corrective actions for any failings in delivering projects

Oversee, manage and schedule the installer teams and subcontractors
Essential Personal Requirements
-
Construction based technical qualification (eg HNC or higher) preferably in site or project
Management
-
Contract/project management experience
-
Managing teams of site based installers or service teams
-
Construction sector and Manufacturing experience
Desirable Personal Requirements
-
IPAF, CSCS Card, SMSTS, PASMA, Mechanical or electrical
-
Experience managing construction projects
-
Experience managing subcontractors
